The Candidate

We are looking to hire a Singapore-law qualified associate or senior associate to join our Banking & Finance team, which is part of our wider Corporate Practice.

The ideal candidate would have between 1 to 3 years' experience in the area of Banking & Finance. Applicants who have relevant experience in general Corporate Practice, but are keen to move into Banking & Finance Practice, are most welcome to apply.

Role and Responsibilities

·       Providing legal advisory services on banking and finance matters, including general bank lending, acquisition financing, syndicated lending, bond issuances and corporate governance;

·       Involvement in cross-border transactions, including in the following areas:-
o    Corporate Banking
o    Project Finance
o    Structured Finance
o    Acquisition Finance
o    Trade Finance
o    Debt Capital Markets

Key Skills, Attributes and Experience

·       Singapore qualified lawyer with 1 to 3 years' post-qualification experience

·       Solid foundation in legal knowledge

·       Commitment to excellence and uncompromising attention to detail

·       Possesses the initiative to drive transactions

·       Exercises commercial awareness to interact with clients from all sectors and industries

·       Able to work independently to run transactions, and as a team to complete transactions

·       Strong drafting skills
