Practical Law is a renowned leader in providing authoritative legal know-how to top-tier law firms and corporations, and contribute to shaping the legal landscape in Asia.

Thomson Reuters is seeking two Senior Specialist Legal Editors to join our Practical Law Asia editorial team, with one role focusing on Employment Law and the other on Commercial Law. The successful candidates will be responsible for researching, writing, and editing high-quality legal know-how content for online publication, maintaining existing content, and answering customer questions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research and write insightful legal know-how content for online publication
• Maintain existing content to ensure it remains up-to-date and relevant
• Develop relationships with third parties to obtain contributions or insights
• Attend training events, conferences, and networking opportunities
• Support marketing, sales, and other business units to achieve objectives
• Mentor colleagues in writing, editing, and customer support

Requirements:

• Qualified to practise law in Singapore
• At least five years' post-qualification experience in Employment Law or Commercial Law, depending on the role
• Excellent writing skills in English, with the ability to write about complex legal issues clearly and simply
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience working to deadlines and prioritising own workload, with a strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects
