Associate (Dispute Resolution and Construction & Engineering)

David Lim & Partners LLP invites applicants to join their Corporate Secretarial Executive position.

The selected applicant will be expected to:
Handle a full spectrum of corporate secretarial matters such as:
(a) Incorporation of Singapore companies;
(b) Drafting of corporate secretarial documents (e.g. Board and Shareholders’ Resolutions, share  transfer documents, meeting minutes);
(c) Ensuring that all statutory deadlines for filings with ACRA for the companies are met;
(d) Preparation and filing of XBRL;
(e) Perform due diligence checks on clients;
(f) Preparation of invoices;
(g) Maintaining and updating of company records; and
(h) Provision of timely updates to clients and necessary follow-ups/reminders.

Qualifications:
1.Singaporean / Singapore PR with a Diploma, CGI qualification (previously known as  ICSA)/CSIS member or degree in any field; and
2.Independent, organised and able to manage files independently with minimal supervision.

We are looking to hire a junior to mid-level Singapore-qualified lawyer to join our Corporate & Commercial Dispute Resolution practice group.

What you will do: 

• Handling corporate / commercial litigation, including shareholder and director disputes, banking and securities, restructuring/insolvency work and employment work.
• If required, assist in any corporate and commercial transactions.

What we are looking for: 

• Singapore qualified lawyers (1 to 3 PQE)
• Experience in corporate and commercial litigation
• Experience in corporate and commercial transaction will be an advantage
• Good team player who can work independently
• Strong technical knowledge and analytical ability
• Meticulous, organised and proactive
• Excellent interpersonal skills
