About the Role

We are looking for a capable and motivated Associate to join our team. You will work closely with partners across all stages of a matter, including case strategy, drafting, evidence, hearing preparation and advocacy.

We welcome applications from candidates looking to build a strong disputes practice and keen to develop both their technical and advocacy skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft pleadings, affidavits, written submissions and legal correspondence
• Conduct legal research and analysis on complex commercial and civil matters
• Assist with case strategy, evidence and preparation for hearings, trials and arbitrations
• Manage evidence, disclosure and preparation for hearings, trials and arbitrations
• Attend court hearings, arbitrations and mediations, with opportunities to develop advocacy experience
• Liaise with clients and manage matters, timelines and deadlines

Requirements

• Admitted to the Singapore Bar, with 0-3 years’ PQE in litigation and/or international arbitration
• Strong legal research, analysis and drafting skills
• Sound judgment and the ability to approach complex legal issues practically and strategically
• Excellent communication, organisation and attention to detail
• Confidence, initiative and a willingness to take on responsibility, including advocacy
