Description
We are looking to hire a Singapore-qualified lawyer to join our Conveyancing practice group.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Handle a full range of conveyancing matters including HDB and private property transactions, sub-sales, and CPF matters
- Liaise with clients, developers, financial institutions, HDB and other relevant authorities
- Prepare and review conveyancing documents, option to purchase, sale and purchase agreements and other related legal documentation
- Manage a portfolio of conveyancing files independently from inception to completion
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and practice guidelines
REQUIREMENTS
- Called to the Singapore Bar
- Minimum 1 to 2 years of conveyancing experience preferred, though candidates with less experience will be considered
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple files simultaneously
- Good communication and client management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist lawyers in handling a range of corporate matters including company incorporations, secretarial matters, and corporate restructuring
- Prepare and review corporate documents, resolutions, agreements and correspondence
- Conduct legal research and prepare research memoranda
- Liaise with clients, ACRA, and other relevant authorities
- Manage and maintain corporate files and documentation
- Provide general legal support to the corporate team as required
REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in Law from a recognised university (essential)
- Prior paralegal or legal experience in a corporate setting will be an advantage
- Meticulous with strong attention to detail
- Proficient in MS Office applications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines
- A proactive team player with a positive working attitude
