Job Scope
· Manage documents on the firm’s case management system and produce bundles for litigation purposes as required.
· Draft, revise, and edit letters and other written documents.
· Assist the lawyers as required in all other related administrative duties.
· Knowledge of CLIO, ICMS and E-Litigation and iPris a plus
Work Hours & Benefits
· 5-day week from 9 am to 6 pm.
· Salary: $2800.00 to $3500.00.
· Medical Benefits
· 14 days of Annual Leave

The Opportunity
We have 1 vacancy for a mid-career Qualified Legal Practitioner who is keen on exploring a career in Criminal Trial Litigation.
Applications for suitable newly qualified candidates will also be considered.
The position will provide an excellent opportunity to hone your advocacy skills in both the State Courts and the High Court.
The key areas of work include:
Attending mentions and pre-trial conferences in Court.
Attending plea-of guilty mentions in Court.
Attending Criminal Trials in Court.
Attending Magistrates Appeals in the High Court.
Client management.
Preparation of letters of representation, pleas-in-mitigation and submissions.
Legal research.
Trial advocacy.
The Requirements
We need a driven individual who is able to multitask and handle different cases simultaneously.
Some of the key requirements include:
Strong values and a keen appreciation of the rules of conduct and engagement.
Compassion and empathy for the clientele.
Strong written and oral advocacy skills.
The ability to manage clients from different backgrounds with courtesy and professionalism.
Legal research skills.
The desire and ability to keep abreast of changes and developments in the law.
