Legal Associate

Description

We are looking for a motivated and meticulous Lawyer to join our team, who is proactive, committed to their work, able to manage matters independently, and works effectively as part of a team.

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct legal research and analyse relevant legislation and case law
• Review evidence, documents and case materials
• Draft legal submissions, representations, affidavits, correspondence and other court documents
• Attend client meetings and advise clients on ongoing matters
• Assist with criminal and civil litigation, including court attendances, mentions, pre-trial conferences and trials
• Develop case strategies and assist with advocacy and preparation for hearings

Requirements:

• Called to the Singapore Bar
• Strong research, drafting and analytical skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Able to work independently and under pressure
