We seek an experienced Family Law Lawyer to independently manage matters from client intake through settlement or trial, with minimal supervision, and advocate before the Family Justice Courts.

Responsibilities

• Handle divorce, ancillary matters, matrimonial assets, maintenance, custody, care and control, and children’s issues.
• Handle prenuptial/postnuptial agreements and cross-border matters.
• Draft pleadings, affidavits, agreements and court documents.
• Conduct negotiations, mediations and court appearances.
• Develop case strategy, assess risks and manage clients.

Requirements

• Singapore-qualified Advocate & Solicitor with valid Practising Certificate.
• Minimum 6 years PQE with substantial family law experience.
• Proven ability to run files independently.
• Strong knowledge of the Women’s Charter, Guardianship of Infants Act and Family Justice Rules.
• Excellent drafting, advocacy, negotiation and client-management skills.
• Strong judgment and discretion.
• Mandarin proficiency preferred.

Advantageous: Cross-border or high-net-worth divorce experience; mediator training.
