Description
The Banking & Finance Department of Lee & Lee LLP is seeking Senior Associates to join the team.
About the Team
The team has an impressive client list, including major banks and financial institutions in Singapore, international financial institutions and law firms, as well as listed companies and REITs. For banking and finance, it is ranked as a band 3 firm on Chambers and a tier 3 firm on IFLR1000. The team has strong expertise in real estate and high proficiency in property and construction project financing, as well as REIT financing.
Requirements for applicants
Applicants must be called to the Singapore bar, preferably have 3 to 6 years PQE in doing banking and finance work.
Applicants are expected to have a strong sense of responsibility, be self-motivated and independant, and also be a good team player.
Applicants should be conversant with the law, and thorough and meticulous in their approach to work.
Applicants, if employed, will work closely with the senior partner in a supportive work environment, and have the opportunity to hone their banking and finance practice and develop their strategic thinking.

Duties involve the provision of corporate secretarial services to a portfolio of clients (both listed and private companies) and include:
. Carrying out client due diligence and onboarding of new clients

Requirements:

. Minimum 2 years of experience in corporate secretarial work
. Good command of written and spoken English. Strong communication skill in spoken Mandarin (and written Chinese) would be an added advantage
. Able to work independently and a good team player
. Very organised, meticulous, reliable and adaptable
. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
. Proficient in MS Outlook, Word and Excel, and generally IT savvy
. Experience in a law firm will be an advantage
