Training Contracts
At Esteem Law LLC, we don’t believe in keeping trainees hidden behind research files or binder stacks. We train future advocates by involving you directly in active disputes, client strategy, and court proceedings from Day 1.
We are seeking a driven, adaptable, and client-centric Practice Trainee to join our team for the 2027 intake.
Practice Exposure
You will gain hands-on, end-to-end exposure across four core litigation pillars:
- Commercial & Civil Dispute Resolution: High-stakes contractual disputes, debt recovery, injunctions, and insolvency matters.
- Criminal Defense: CPC processes, representations to AGC, bail applications, trials, and sentencing mitigation.
- Family & Matrimonial Law: Contested divorce, child custody/access disputes, division of matrimonial assets, and Personal Protection Orders (PPOs).
- General Litigation & Advocacy: Drafting pleadings, affidavits, submissions, and assisting in Supreme Court and State Court hearings.
Culture & Team Perks
- Direct Partner Mentorship: Work closely alongside senior directors who actively mentor your oral advocacy and drafting
- Real Responsibility: Draft court documents, attend client consultations, and participate in court hearings/mediations.
- Retention-Focused Culture: We view our training program as our primary pipeline for future Legal Associates—we train to retain.
- Networking: We actively invest in building your professional network and industry profile from your very first month.
- Competitive Package: Market-rate monthly allowance, structured feedback, and bar preparation support.
